Join us in a moving tribute to Canadian courage and sacrifice on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 1 PM to 3 PM at Indigo – Granville, Vancouver.
We are honoured to welcome the family of the late Lt. Cdr. Joseph Marston, a proud Vancouver resident, Royal Canadian Navy officer, and true national hero. His remarkable story—surviving a German torpedo strike at Omaha Beach on D-Day and continuing to lead through the darkest chapters of WWII—is preserved in a powerful new memoir that pays tribute to both the man and the moment in history.
📘 Book Signing & Tribute Event
📘 Special Guests: The Marston Family
📘 Memoir: Living in Interesting Times: The Early Seafaring Years of Lt. Cdr. J.C. Marston, RCN, CD, DSC (Ret’d) 1930–1945
This event is more than a signing—it’s a chance to reflect on the price of peace, to honour those who gave everything, and to hear firsthand the story of a Canadian whose leadership and resilience continue to inspire.
We pay homage to those who fought for a better world. Let us remember, learn, and rebuild—together.
