The birth of light that shines through you as the Sun rises with ultimate life responsibility the root of a family tree in the cosmos of a humanbeing.

Being a man comes with enormous responsibility. To be a father is a divine blessing, a loving father is a gift no matter how the challenges are. A man naturally is a protector, a guardian of humanity. We must always love our fathers; life is full sometimes with unknown circumstances. Dwelling in the ocean of kindness will protect the ecosystem of fatherhood.

There is an irreversible generation of fathers who as youth sacrificed much of their life to build a better world for the next generations. Let’s not take the sacrifices for granted as they came from all continents and bravely some faced injustice, humiliation, oppression, racism, and proudly they stood on guard fit for one common goal of dignity and peace for mankind.

D-Day was the moment that Canada became a country a significance one on the world stage with proud and moral leaderships. Canadian forces landed on June 6, 1944, Juno beach Normandy coast of France in the middle of the Second World War.

How can we do justice to the generations of brave Father’s 80 years later?

Sometimes when you hear stories of 80 years ago, all it takes is to react with an open ear to hear the outlined description of historical facts; inspired by the story of this great Canadian D Day World War 2 hero supply chain Maritime Captain Joseph Marston who left a detailed diary of the time of his services in the Navy. After he passed away, his son who is now 72 years old decided to publish his Father’s memoir but faced many challenges for over 14 years to publish the story.

After hearing this story, I instantly decided to help publish the book to honour the sacrifice and legacy of this brave man who humbly put his life on the frontline of service and duty for a better world we are enjoying today.

The book is available in hard copy now in circulation over one year and available on amazon.com to purchase. Marston Jr’s dream is to make a movie about his Father’s story.

The story went full circle when after 80 years copies of the book was given to Queen Elizabeth’s daughter Royal Princess Anne during her 2024 official visit to North Vancouver, British Colombia when commissioning HMCS Max Bernays III of Canada new arctic patrol vessels.

This heroic Father will be very happy about his Son’s commitment to share his story and who never forgot his legacy as his story is now archived in the Canadian National Library.

On this Father’s Day be that one Father your Father and sons and daughters can count on even when things are challenging be calm, be kind, be patient and love your father.

Sincerely sending blessings of good health and unshakable spirit of kindness to all Fathers.
