As we celebrate Father’s Day this year with our children let us reflect on the meaning of fatherhood.
More commonly a male parent, referred to as father, is proud to give life and it’s an honour and privilege no matter your circumstances in life rich or poor, healthy or disabled, short or tall living in a city, village, jungle, water, mountain, or ghetto; it is a proud spirited feeling across the world. This spirit of fatherhood binds us all together as humanity universally.
In the process of raising a child we all face the presence of the unknown and unimaginable sorrow when we lose our child.
We learn from our parents and get protection as this is the rule of caring and love. We nourish our children with high expectations no matter our lives circumstances.
I was lucky enough to have a chance to be raised in a village with my Great Grandfather who was an admirable man who traveled and assisted with helping German veterans settle in Togo and Cameroon. Having witnessed many generations of stories before he died in 1986. My early recollection of the stories was when I was just 7 years old, my Great Grandfather shared the importance of his life, leadership and wisdom. He was a man who always highlighted the psychological atrocity of slavery to independence of Africa and hope for a better future world for the next generations.
The past generations encouraged us to build the world we want to live in and set a legacy to inspire the next generation. Let’s not make ourselves blind to what’s going on around us. We all can do better to foster a collective mechanism to advance mankind as the answer is simple when you open your eyes, pay attention to listen we can cure our diseases and eradicate pandemics that threatens our humanity.
Domestic savagery is another illness that is prevalent today and this too needs to end!
Love and kindness are precious ingredients of our soul, the fragrant spice of humanity.
The pain of our fore-father’s is universal we can’t deny their struggle and we can’t be ignorant and look away but we have to look ourselves in the eye in the mirror and determine what kind of father am I?
Let us not go far to search for answers. Our mouth is the most fundamental natural voice we have; it’s crucial we speak out for injustice and savagery in any form across all communities. The essence of air we breathe for living and for freedom required for all mankind’s existence.
When you are going to take a leadership role make sure you know your subject and surround yourself with a clever team to help you lead to get a constructive result to progress humanity.
The Corruption virus is another at our institutions and governments this too is an epidemic we to eradicate urgently and globally. Greed in society is like a plastic bag we fail to disintegrate in the human pollution as this is ongoing hurricane on the global hemisphere a source of mudslide flooding of poverty and injustice.
Human sacrifices in any form is an immoral senseless behavior trait of mankind rights.
There’s no weakness in the show of kindness for a wiseman as we all are proud of our heritage.
Being an African or person of colour should not be scoffed at we are all humans we all bleed red! The elders always said, ‘the stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’.
The father somewhere is the father anywhere as this is universal!
If there’s one thing we can take from all the current events of our life today Is that we only have a short time to live on this earth let’s be an instrumental energy and construct a positive society for our humankind.
We win together when we work together and foster a peaceful world we want to live in and pass to our children universally.
At the end of our life our works day of processing material wealth will not save us from death when our time arrives this has no value.
Love and Kindness must be our investment stocks as a father.
Happy Father’s Day ! Bonne Celebration a Vous Tous Papa !
