Money Transfer made convenient, quick and easy for customers

Ontario, Canada, 27th March 2012 – Xpress Money, one of the leading global money transfer brands recently announced the launch of its services through an online portal for its customers in Canada. Accessible through the website www.xpressmoney.com, customers need to complete a simple registration procedure before proceeding to use the online services. At the moment, account holders of 4 leading Canadian banks – RBC Royal, BMO, Canada Trust and Scotia Bank can access this service to send money across the world; Xpress Money has plans of expanding this reach further in the coming months.

To avail of this service, customers need to sign up online and provide the receiver’s information. They also get to choose the mode of payment from three options– cash pickup, door delivery or direct account credit, which the receiver can then make use of. Customers will also be able to track their transaction every step of the way, with the dedicated 24X7 customer support provided by Xpress Money.

Built on a safe and secure platform equipped with 128 bit SSL certifications and high-tech firewalls,

the system has been designed to enhance the user experience and be customer friendly. Using the

Debit Way Portal to make payments, this gateway is an immediate and effective way of transferring money online, across the world.

Talking about the portal Mr. Debanshu Majumdar, Director & Vice President – Xpress Money Services (Canada) Limited, said, “Xpress Money conducted a major consumer research in Canada where we found that people who transfer money across the world and specifically to India, Pakistan, Philippines and the CIS region preferred the option of online money transfer from the convenience of their home or office. Based on the feedback we received, we launched this online money transfer service which helps our users transfer money from anywhere in Canada to the rest of the world. We are sure that our customers will be very pleased with the platform.”

Mr. Sudhesh Giriyan, Global Head, Xpress Money said, “The world is becoming a smaller place thanks to the Internet. Banking became a hassle-free experience thanks to Internet banking and we knew that it was only a matter of time before money transfer would go the online route too. We are excited about bringing this quick, easy, and safe mode of transfers to our customers in Canada, and hope to expand the online portal to our customers in other countries very shortly.”

There is a lot to be excited about with the new money transfer portal.
