Exciting news!

As we go into our 22nd year and first year on Zoom, we have decided to

bring a special  youth host into the show featuring youth poets,

writers, artists, and filmmakers.

On November 26, our new World Poetry Director Britney Russell

(Bexpressivesoul) from Jamaica, began her debut with her new show

‘Poetics with Britney’ hosting two youth poets from Ghana and Nigeria.

World Poetry believes that creative world youth are the hope for our future They need to have someone to believe in them and share their talents with the world and to make the world heal.

Britney is an ideal host for this segment since she is a talented poet and has been in numerous international open mics, anthologies and has won awards for her remarkable poetry. She will be hosting ‘Poetics with Britney’ once a month for 20 minutes on the World Poetry Cafe Plus Zoom Café. Britney can be found on any social media platform as ‘Bexpressivesoul.’

If anyone wants to be featured on her show, she can be contacted via

email at britneyrussell87679@gmail.com
