Vancouver Fringe Festival 2019

September 5, 2019 – September 15, 2019

Recurring Daily  : Times: Thursday, September 5th – Sunday, September 15th, 2019

Location: Various locations on Granville Island  Address: Granville Island  Vancouver, BC

This boundary-pushing performance arts festival returns featuring some of the best (and weirdest) in live performance from across Canada and around the world. The action centers on downtown’s Granville Island, where acts take the stage in multiple theatres, as well as far less traditional venues (including, in past years, a blow-up raft and a bicycle). The Festival also has shows all around Vancouver!

In 2019 the Festival will be held September 5 – 15. The Festival employs an “everyone welcome” selection technique—the Mainstage shows are literally drawn out of a hat, giving all artists a chance to participate. The Vancouver Fringe Festival also features unique site-specific theatre where artists stage their work in the nooks and crannies of Granville Island and East Vancouver.
