Toronto Caribbean Carnival, continues to shine as the Caribbean festival to be at

with the major event being the King & Queen Competition at Lamport Stadium July 28 and the Grand Carnival Parade

July 30 at CNE grounds and down Lakeshore Blvd.   This year saw 12 Mas Bands participating

and all levels of costume design for the the big costume leaves one breathless.  Many younger generation designers

are coming into age bringing a new dimension to Mas.

For the smaller Mas Bands, its all about having fun and not about who is Band of the Year keeping their revellers

costume lower price so more can enjoy.

Also over the years see more and more other cultures take part

like Filipino,Chinese and many overseas tourist are coming just to be part of Carnival as well as many

continually from New York,Ohio and other states
