Vancouver, BC, September 12, 2012 – The Afro News has signed a strategic alliance with Legacy Partners Group LLC of Cheyenne WY to cross-promote events, products and services organized and carried by either or both partners with the aim of raising funds for the SAGE Foundation under the auspices of Privilege Group Holdings.

THE AFRO NEWS is an award winning publication and leader of the Multi – Ethnic press delivering news, culture, sports and articles of interest to a diverse community of more than 2 million people. The 24 page tabloid size newspaper which is published in Vancouver, British Columbia, engages readers all over the world through its powerful printed words, its dynamic and daily online presence and through an active social media presence.

LEGACY PARTNERS GROUP LLC provides Marketing, Networking, Organizational Development and Human Resource services to its clients worldwide. Led by Emmett Dunlap Jr. who has demonstrated notable accomplishments in a range of industries, specializing in the entertainment arena LEGACY recently signed a Joint Venture with the ‘As Seen on TV Company’ to market innovative products that this renowned company is famous for. As well, LEGACY has obtained exclusive right to promote in Canada a new line of gourmet Barbeque Sauce by five-time world heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield, among other noteworthy products and services.

THE AFRO NEWS President Honore Gbedze. Stated, “We are very happy to have formed an alliance with LEGACY. We feel strongly that the fundraising program will benefit the SAGE foundation whose mission is to create a healthy dialogue with our youth and to contribute towards their integration and in creating a sense of belonging. The funds will allow SAGE to develop and facilitate communication workshops and mentorship programs through partnership with schools and community groups to empower our youths and new Canadians.
