The 2024 Elevate Vancouver Autoshow was not as boisterous as it once was before the pandemic stopped the show from happening for a good few years.

While the display showcase lineup was quite limited and only a handful of the known car makers and models were represented there were some wow moments to behold.

Cadillac showcased their new Electric Car The Lyriq a wide bodied 5 seat luxury crossover boasting a massive 33-inch curved touchscreen.

The Tesla Cybertruck is either love it or not so love it! A stainless-steel exoskeleton which in itself will raise eyebrows when it’s driven on the urban highways.

General Motors Electric Hummer is a magnificent vehicle boasts ‘own the road’ status and commands its own attention.

It seems the mid size sedan has been phased out of the market and replaced with midsize SUV’s. More full electric vehicles versus hybrids.

The automobile has changed quite a bit in the last ten years and as we gear up to a greener space much more change will be coming.

For now it seems that automobiles in general will not be replaced by public transit for a long while!
