Une Degustations de Vins D’Italie

On October 22, 2019  The Afro News – TAN Network covered the 16th Annual Tasting of Wines from Italy. The Vancouver event held at the Terminal City Club kicks off the 2019 tour headed for Calgary, Toronto and Montreal.

Hosted by the Italian Trade Commission, the gathering invited hundreds of wine merchants, agents and food and wine writers in the lower mainland to come and ‘Taste the Passion’. The passion was clear in wines presented by the principals of 47 leading Italian estates.

A much anticipated event, the gathering allows vintners and their representative to give Canadians a taste of the wine industry today. Together, they can also glimpse the future while enjoying the superior hospitality style of the Italian Trade Commission. Invitees sample as many wines as they wish to explore and to make available to their patrons. Questions are asked and delicious Italian foods suitable to satiate attendees as their palates enjoy a respite between rounds of tastings.

Each year sustains an impressive level of quality. Each year brings with it opportunity for new agents and people passionate about joining in the growth in the wine appreciation industry.

Many presenters who pour the produce of Italy’s vineyards also post openings for representing agents for their region.  Inquiries can be made directly with producers or through the Trade Commission’s offices in Toronto and Montreal that connect with all the regions in Canada.
