Special Interview with the Amazing Crystal J. Pullen , Female Michel Jackson Impersonator
Crystal J. Pullen, (mjsraven) has entertained from East Coast’s Off Broadway to The West Coast’s Las Vegas Casino’s. Featured in Critically Acclaimed Photography Book ” The Michael Jackson”. Acknowledged and Confirmed By Michael Jackson’s Main Choreographer to be ” THE ONLY FEMALE MICHAEL JACKSON IMPERSONATOR IN THE USA AND INTERNATIONALLY.
I was so impressed with Crystal’s interview on the World Poetry Café Radio Show, her attention to detail in movement and dance which brought the best of Michael Jackson to life in a historical presentations. She shares with the audiences those experiences and brings love and empowerment to them both in her teaching of women and children and her performances . Adding to her performances is her background in Ballet and Modern Dance and her great love for her work.
Here are some of the questions and answers in the interview:
1) Describe the historical part of your performance.
“The Historical Part of My Performance has no particular moment. Each time I step on stage it becomes historical for me. It allows me to share with People of all generations the gift of Music, Love and Michael.”
2) Please mention how you feel during and after the performance.
“ During My Performance I feel Elevated to another World, Like My Spirit is being shared . After the Performance, I feel Completed, like My mission was accomplished and The message can be shared throughout.”
3) Please give your message of believing in yourself and never giving up which you stated on the World Poetry Cafe Radio Show.
“ My Message to all is “ Never ever take no for an answer . Use that as Fuel to your fire/ Ambition. Know there will be Obstacles and There will be Challenges in anything in Life you choose to do but Never Get discouraged and Remember who you are and what you want in life.”
4) Please tell us about what you are teaching women and young people in your classes?
“I teach The essence of Michael Jackson’s Moves as well as how to Utilize all forms of Dance from the past , resent and what could become the future of Dance. My students get a brief history of the legends that inspired me as a dancer and performer and then I show them the dance forms that were used in the past either in movies, Theatre or Video and show how they are used in today’s style with variety and samples.”
Crystal is also a humanitarian who reaches out to others and is an Ambassador of Peace for People in Nepal, focusing on children and the building of schools. In addition to all her work, she also is the proud mother of a 14 year old.
Her message to all is to “believe, believe, believe in one’s self and nothing can stop you.”
It was a real honor to do this interview with this exceptional woman who helps to make the world a better place.
