The once sought-after economic globalization has struck a nerve that has caused many countries and organizations to suffer loss and destruction. The supply chain has been severely compromised which leaves us all feeling overwhelmed with what comes next?
A vast majority of global citizens can claim that they had ‘gap years’ on their career journey as we were abruptly stopped in our tracks of normal everyday routines of waking up, getting dressed and going to work. All this has left us in a state of how do we ever make up for lost time and muster our stretched and tested energy to stand strong and stay standing?
My mantra this year has been ‘to live in the moment of every moment’! Simply said but hard to do as human nature is always concerned about what tomorrow will be and bring and we neglect to concern ourselves and just be and live in the moment.
Afterall the present is a gift that we all tend to ignore over and over and not realizing all the missed opportunities to take a moment to smile, to be happy, to count our many blessings and to be thankful for all the small and ‘insignificant’ yet ‘great’ things we all have and that is merely having the opportunity to ‘just breathe’ and enjoy the beauty of the earth that surrounds us.
As we enter a more sophisticated era of man versus machine and all things in the virtual reality realm of life be mindful of the meltdown triggers and don’t neglect to tap into your humanistic self and stay balanced!
Wishing you and yours a much peaceful, joyous and reflective Christmas Season and every best wish for renewed joie de vivre and prosperity in the New Year 2023!
