Today’s signing ceremony was attended by International Paralympic Committee (IPC) President Sir Philip Craven, Samsung’s Gyehyun Kwon, VANOC Chief Information officer, Ward Chapin and Canadian National Ice Sledge Hockey Captain Jean Labonte.
Labonte was on the Canadian Team that won gold in Torino 2006 Paralympic Games. Samsung is a worldwide partner of the IPC. The partnership was launched on the eve of the Torino 2006 Games, which Samsung supported as official Games partner for the first time ever.
