CONGRATULATIONS to the Toronto Raptors on winning the NBA Championships.
It was a hard, tough fight in game 6 but the Raptors defeated the Golden State Warriors 114-110 to win their first ever championship. Kawhi Leonard was named series MVP. A well deserved honour. Kyle Lowry dominated the first half with 21 points including 5 three-pointers and finished with 26 points and 10 assists.
Fred VanVleet stepped up big time in the 2nd half and ended with 22 points. Siakam (25), Leonard (22), and Ibaka (15) all contributed to the win.
Golden State fought hard to the end although they must have been devastated to lose Klay Thompson who was injured late in the 3rd quarter.
He had 30 points when he fell awkwardly after being fouled by Danny Green. Curry, who was well guarded all game had 21 points and Iguodala 22. BUT Game 6 and the championship belonged to the Toronto Raptors. I join the entire country in saying WELL DONE RAPTORS. YOU BROUGHT IT HOME !!
