RAPTORS SWEEP BROOKLYN – BOSTON SWEEPS PHILADELPHIA

The brooms were out of the closet and put to good use as Toronto swept Brooklyn, winning game 4 by the incredible score of 150-122 (100 points from the bench).

Norm Powell (29 points) and Serge Ibaka (another double double 27 points 15 rebounds) provided the spark especially after Kyle Lowry left the game late in the first quarter with an ankle/foot injury. He had an MRI on the arch of his foot and did not return. No further information was available.

This was the first playoff sweep in franchise history. Caris LeVert had 35 for the Nets. If Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are healthy Brooklyn will be a team to watch next season.

Toronto will play Boston in the East semi finals.

Boston swept their series with Philadelphia by winning game 4 110-106. It was a hard fought game from start to finish and could have gone either way. 76ers Joel Embiid (30pts)and Tobias Harris (20pts)plus 5 three pointers each was not enough to stop Boston’s Kemba Walker (32pts)and Jason Tatum (28 pts).

This series win was the first time Kemba Walker has been involved in a playoff series win in his nine years in the league. He was drafted 9th overall by Charlotte in 2011 and played there until signing with Boston in 2019. Boston will play Toronto in the East semi finals.

LA  Clippers-Dallas:

Dallas shocked the Clippers by winning their game 4 135-133 in overtime. Luka Donic had a monster game with 43 points and 17 rebounds. He also drained a three at the buzzer to win the game for Dallas. The series is now tied 2-2. Kawhi Leonard had 32 points for the Clippers. Game 5 is Tuesday at 9 pm EST.

Denver-Utah:

Denver’s Jamal Murray had 50 points and Nikola Jokic added 29 in a 129-127 loss to Utah. Donovan Mitchell who had 51 points for Utah was joined by Mike Conley and Jordan Clarkson who contributed 26 and 24 points respectively to post the win in a very close game right from the tip off. Utah leads the series 3-1. Game 5 is Tuesday at 6:30 pm at 6:30 ES
