By Len Chan : Immigrant Services Calgary hosted a National Seniors Day event October 6th at the John Dutton Theatre at the Calgary Public Library. Family & Community Support Services (FCCS) funded the Program. Social Planner Cynthia Lokko whose roots are in Nigeria, represented FCSS. She was presented with flowers from Josephine Pon of Immigrant Services.
The well-attended event featured special guests MLA’s Jason Luan and Moe Amery. The Chinese Elder Citizens Association, Marakame Mexican Dance Association, Punjabi Dance and Focus on Seniors provided entertainment
