Good things come for those who wait. Destined for stardom is One of the hot new actors from the new blockbuster Star Wars movie. Able to connect in a big way for fans of the series is amount Boyega, a talented relatively new actor whose abilities have obviously clicked with both the filmmakers of this juggernaut series as well as its unending legion of fans. So now let’s focus on the history of a true star in the making. May the force be with him for an eternity.

Humble beginnings set the stage for what’s to follow for young John, a man with energy to burn. Humble and grounded to a fault our strapping young man was born back on March 17, 1992 in merry old England. And when I say this lad is grounded I mean just that. Thanks to a loving family that immigrated from Nigeria school proved very important to this Peckham, south-east London resident. So did having a social conscience imbedded in him by his parents.

Set a good example and good things may follow. With a father who is a Pentecostal minister and a mom who works with the disabled and disadvantaged it’s not hard to see why Mr. Boyega is so all admired by all who he meets. Almost in all true success stories education is both the key to success and a way to help unlock doors. As a youth right after school John attended acting classes back in his primary school days since the ripe old age of five with the first enrolment being at Theatre Peckham.

While most “kids” at 16 think about learning to drive or getting a car this spry soon to be 5’9″ lad decided to hone his acting by first going to South Thames College followed in quick succession and a progression to Hackney London’s The Identity School of Acting. Clearly no hack a short stint at Greenwich Village of around a year could not deter our fabled subject from putting his all into learning about acting. Obviously this move has paid off rather handsomely.

Breaks in life are important to everyone. John Boyega is no exception to this golden rule. Good fortune came early with a selection to work on Becoming Human before striking it rich as Moses in the penetrating Attack The Block . And just like the fabled Israelite led his people out of the clutches of an evil Pharoah in ancient Egypt so our timeless warrior faces down more futuristic menaces in the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Expect the force to be with him all the way. Besides, any true environmentalist and fan of crowd-pleasing Michael Bay can’t be all that bad.
