humbleAfro News: Per your album’s name, Why is ‘humble – Everything for you’ ?
Humble : I named the album ‘Everything’ because ‘Life is Everything’…plain and simple…everything else is secondary.

Afro News: What prompted you to start Reggae music?
Humble : The feel…the beat…the pulse, the mysticism, ..reggae means “Kings music”…was totally something that connected with me spiritually.

Afro News: Who or What gave you strength in your everyday life?

Humble : The most High, the King of Kings…that positive energy that gives light to everything.
Just spiritually.

Afro News: What inspires you most about Reggae music?
Humble : The fact that reggae gives you spiritual strength, self pride and self reliance…these are the basic teachings of positive roots reggae music…protest against injustice in all its forms, and wherever it raises its head.

Afro News : Do you have any regrets about your chosen career?
Humble: None…except maybe that I started in my teens rather than in my twenties…but..nothing comes before its given time.

Afro News: How do you grow from here?
Humble: I grow by continuing to do what I love doing, being more involved in my craft…all aspects of it, keeping an open mind about the music. Every time I record I’m learning more.

Afro News: What advice do you have for our youth?
Humble: Whatever it is you find yourself doing, you will know if its meant for you when you have no idea where the time went while you were doing what your doing….when that happens…that’s the thing for you. And know that opinions are the cheapest commodities…you have the answer to your problems…nobody else…just you.

Afro News: Winning the CANADA Music Juno Award how do you describe this achievement.
Humble: It’s a great achievement for me as an artist…to be recognized for my craft is a wonderful thing. Reggae music still has its hills to climb in Canada, so i hope i can be a driving force in that process. But overall its a beautiful thing.

Afro News : How do want to be remembered in the music world?
Humble: As an artist who found the music in him…and expressed it to the world with honesty and integrity….music will do the rest…which is to inspire.
Humble : Thank you AfroNews….One Love…
