We started the year 2018 on very shaky ground with the continuation of the disrespectful morals the USA Leadership affected the whole social world and political climate. This brought uncertainty in many countries but it never stopped common citizens to continue their daily routine and profession and stand for peace, justice and democracy.
As the global democratic society faces a tremendous challenge we must remain united for improving our common human right s and look towards building a responsible social economic opportunity for all to improve the life of all citizens globally; it’s in the hand of very nations leaderships moral duty to find common ground.
There has been so much distraction here at home in all levels of leadership as we are loosing ground on many issues this land of ‘milk and honey’ Canada faces.Citizens are feeling left in the mud as leadership scramble to find answers. We must be realistic and come back to basics and focus on our own country’s setbacks. There’s so much influence and distraction from other areas of the world economy that we are at risk and selling our future generations progress and pretending this is the solution for today.Leaderships of this great nation must come together to work closely to better strengthen our local economic future first.
Politics must be set aside; we are tarnishing our status of being very well know in the world as a smart governing country and why now are we becoming a greedy society and allowing the bullies to come in and dominate what we have worked so hard to build.
There’s still much interest in our common domestic future but we must focus collaboratively to foster a lasting future for our next generations; so that they remain in Canada and continue to build our country’s future. Let’s stop chasing other countries greed and corruption and return to our moral and ethical Canadian characteristics.
This country was built on an immigrant society who sacrificed all to achieve and make a difference building communities the very places we live in today, they came here for a new life and opportunity to live in a better place on earth. This past year it has been heartbreaking to see many longtime small businesses owners hopelessly close their business doors everywhere in our communities, due to greed and the almighty business giants taking away people’s livelihood – have they no moral conscience?
Sadly, I witnessed too many victims hit by this sick disease of greed and the most saddest of all is that one such person took her own life because she couldn’t face what she had been dealt; may her soul rest in peace – are we breeding such a heartless state of commerce for merchants who are just trying to be of service and make a living?
It’s an urgent matter that our local society is now facing and a faster action plan needs to be installed so that we are not losing what was once built on ethics and morals and the well-being of all. Hardwork and integrity should hold more value than greed!
I have been blessed to live on Canadian soil for the past 18 years. When I was a 7 year old child living in West Africa I dreamt of coming to Canada after I learnt about this wonderful country in school and saw pictures of igloos, eskimo’s and Vancouver, it wasn’t long when this dream became a reality for me and now 18 years later , while I have yet to see an igloo and eskimo, I am still an advocate for Canada’s success and how can we as citizens contribute to this status.
My heart is filled with gratitude; this has been a wonderful journey as the first generation voyageurs of my family root setting foot on this wonderful country 18 years ago I look forward toward the fast approaching new year.
With hope, dedication and perseverance we will achieve much. Our goal should be to build better communities that will in turn generate a prosperous future. Keep your options open for any opportunity and never under estimate anyone. Keep a smile on your face and in your heart all the time.
May this Holiday Season bring much blessings and joy to you and your families!
We wish you all great health and prosperity in the New Year 2019 with much needed peace in all Communities around the world; therefore remain an instrument of Peace and hope !
Bonne et Heureuse Annee 2019 Happy New Year .
You may not always have a comfortable life and you will not always be able to solve all of the world’s problems at once but don’t ever underestimate the importance you can have because history has shown us that courage can be contagious and hope can take on a life of its own. Michelle Obama
