Hope For The New Year

In the early morning hours on the last Tuesday of the year 2020 I woke up in a very quiet house; my eyes turned to the sound of the red clock on the wall with a rhythmic tick tock tick as every second ticked on. Everything seemed peaceful on the outside of the window where a bright glare of the morning sun pierced through a cloud.

Suddenly a little bluebird flew by tweeting very quickly. My eyes caught the holiday wreath on the wall that was freshly watered and was still in full bloom of lush green branches.

I stood and gazed at the landscape of the garden beyond my balcony door and did a recap of the last 12 months.

This year was pretty much full of irreparable  circumstances where lives cannot be replaced. Nothing can replace the uniqueness of human lives on this earth. The big hole this pandemic brought will forever be in history books but as humans who conquered we shall overcome there’s hope and progress in action so we should not live in fear.

Let the sunlight shine upon everyone and fill us with the burning energy of hope and optimism and remain protected by the Almighty One through the holy spirit.

With open eyes may the new year rise with promise of a better future as we look forward to working collaboratively in our human capacity.

Wishing you all a safe and wonderful entry into the new Year Celebrations.

Happy New Year !
