Certain entertainers let their work do the talking and leave the publicity behind. Take Tasha Smith for example. Lack of public information on this rising star’s life can be a mixed blessing. What can’t be denied, however, is this woman’s acting credentials which continue to grow by the day. Three films with Tasha are already scheduled for either filming or are already underway. Not bad for the Camden New Jersey native who has the distinction of having an identical sister, Sidra. That means both girls may well have been born to loving parents on Feb. 28, 1971 and also appears in their shapely figures “towering” in at 5’7”. Like so many other actors Tasha has done loads of television work. Appearances as a doctor on Chicago Hope proved beneficial as did bouts on Boston Common and others. Today Tasha generates laughs as one of the visitors in the Vince Vaughn vehicle Couples Retreat. Among other films Tasha has appeared in include comedies The Whole Ten Yards and Me, You and Dupree. And having a friendship with super model Tyra Banks can’t hurt nor can similar time spent with Tisha Campbell who helped house her during her first foray to California way back when.
No substitute makes up for education. Should Tasha’s good looks ever fade, which won’t happen for decades, or roles dry up she can always rely on being a dialogue coach, a trade she has perfected and in the process helped others with. Any way you look at it, this stunner seems poised for bigger and better things as the years unfold.
