Versatility can take you far in this world. Especially if you’re career wanders into the world of show business. Quick study Roger J. Timber makes his move in the public eye in various fashion. Talents include comedy, doubling for other actors, voice overs, improvisation and a keen take on dialects. Whether casting someone from Jamaica, the south or the British Isles casting agents, directors and producers can rely on Roger Timber to get the job done.
Born and brought up in Rayville Louisiana this southern son has sure spread his wings. Education can never be overlooked which is why our June 14, 1982 born baby saw fit to attend university at Monroe, Louisiana. Off hours were spent on the field as our freshman creating a stir during track and field assignments. Athletics were something easy to accept as he became proficient at both baseball and football. Not wanting to pursue these endeavours Roger entered the world of live theatre, becoming good at acting as his current stock exemplifies. Whenever you can combine your passion with an education and a career you are in good stead. Honours awarded this soon to be Louisiana legend include a bachelor in Fine Arts from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette. Further impressive credentials came by way of the American Conservatory Theatre in city by the bay San Francisco.
On screen whenever a show/film requires a security guard, officer, cameraman or doctor our southern transplant is at the ready. Challenges delight this young man whose career looks headed upward with ease. Stand-in work includes stints doubling the likes of Anthony Anderson and Laurence Fishburne. Television audiences may have caught glimpse of Roger’s talents on Law & Order while filmgoers can catch him in two releases this year: the comedy I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell and the drama: Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans. New appearances seem likely to further enhance a growing resume for our gentle giant at 5’10”.
