While we look forward to great things in 2011, we should also take a moment to reflect on those who are not with us anymore.  Following are some those who passed on in 2010.

Marvin Isley, 56, youngest member of the soul band The Isley Brothers

Denis Simpson, 59, Canadian (originally from Jamaica) actor, singer, long time host of the Children’s show Polka Dot Door (TV)

December

James Moody, 85, jazz saxaphone and flute player

Magnolia Shorty, 28, rapper

Bobby Farrell, 61, Aruba-born frontman for the rock/pop group Boney M

Sir Ellis Emanuel Innocent Clarke, 93   He was Trinidad & Tobago’s first President (1976) and created the country’s founding constitution.
