SAGE Foundation Plans for 2018
SAGE’s founder, Honore Gbedze invites you to help mark the 10th anniversary since the inception of SAGE. Founded to recognize and award individuals, students and families who have contributed to their community through work or studies in the arts, finance, sport, culture and education. The goal has always been to create a healthy dialogue with our youth and to encourage integration and a sense of belonging.
In 2018, SAGE Foundation announces new and year round programs created in alliance with The Segran Group (TSE). A global provider of Marketing, Organizational Development and Human Resource services the company will deliver workshops led by principal, Sean Segran. They’ll be on youth leadership and life skills in the context of community engagement and the development of both personal accountability and ongoing community contribution.
“They say it takes a village to raise a child,” says Gbedze,”but I believe that a child well nurtured by her community can push the village to grow. The entire community benefits from the support of our children and ultimately, our country.”
Other trainers, consultants and educators will partner with SAGE Foundation this year to support youth, new immigrants and ability and ethnically diverse groups in our labour market. The Sage Foundation 10th Anniversary program reflects some of these contributors who will briefly share some of their journeys.
