Canada’s 4th annual National Black History Month Expo took place this passed weekend February 26th. “The event was a tremendous success” says the founder and organizer Mr. Kingsley Cato.
The cultural celebration concert was virtual this year due to covid-19 protocols in Ontario, however, despite the lack of an in-theatre audience the event received it’s greatest viewership since it’s inception when more than 5000 guest viewers logged on to watch the live performances by some popular artiste including international award wining artist Hoszia Hinds (Barbados) and Minstrel Osas (Nigeria).
The BHME team hope to realize even greater success in future when Covid-19 restrictions expected to be lifted in time for the 2023 iteration of the event.
