Dubbed as Western Canada’s best Reggae festival, the Calgary Reggae Festival took place from August 13-15, 2015 and attracted a number of talented local, national and International artistes. Much to the delight of reggae enthusiasts, the major event which was held at Shaw Millennium Park had none other than the legendary reggae, singer-songwriter Tinga Stewart close the show with a wonderful selection of his finest melodies. Other performers who hit the main stage included Netherland’s Ziggi Recado, Toronto’s Jay Douglas and from Vancouver, Nigerian Canadian vocalist, Omolara, who continues to climb the Reggae ladder of success. Omolara has in past performed at events featuring stars like Luciano, Burning Spear, Beres Hammond.
