Nicholas Lindsay, 18, is the second player from TFC’s Youth Academy to sign with the club. He made four MLS appearances for TFC last season chalking up three assists and electrifying the crowd with his speed down the wing and his ability with the ball. Lindsay has sustained injury to his left knee and requires surgery to repair both his ACL and MCL. The first surgery was performed January 12th and the other will take place six months later. It is expected he will miss the entire 2011 season. Earl Cochrane, TFC Director of Team and Player Operations said, “Nicholas has made huge strides in the short time he has been with the team and has a bright future ahead of him. He added that the team would give him full support and everything he needs to make a full recovery.
