It has been a great and humble honour during the last 2 years to sit as a community member on the City of Coquitlam, Multicultural Advisory Committee (MAC) whose mandate is to provide a local perspective and advice to Council with respect to achieving the City’s strategic goals and accompanying strategic directions.

This was a wonderful experience to enable and to share a collaborative voice with wonderful community members to make our city a better place.  I am pleased of my participation and it was a wonderful experience.
Our gratitude is extended to our Chair Councillor, Brent Asmundson who is seeking re-election and Vice Chair Councillor Terry O’Neil who is retiring from civic politics.
We take this opportunity to thank them for their services. We also extend our congratulations to Trish Mandewo for her candidacy as City Councillor at the next municipal election.
“When we are able to share and listen to one another in the community our voices are more constructive for the fabric of our democracy “
Sincerely Yours
Honore Gbedze
